THE WITCHES OF THE ORIENT coming to Canada
The unstoppable WITCHES continue world tour
Julien Faraut’s vibrant feature documentary about Japan’s women volleyball team and their incredible achievements is released in Canada with boutique distributor Films We Like, co-founded in 2003 by music promoter Gary Topp and filmmaker Ron Mann.
After successfully premiering in North America at MoMA’s Doc Fortnight, throughout Europe at renowned festivals such as International Film Festival Rotterdam, DocsBarcelona, Sheffield Doc/Fest, Pesaro Film Festival, in Asia at Jeonju Film Festival and Shanghai Int. Film Festival and recently in Australia at Melbourne International FF, THE WITCHES OF THE ORIENT continues its world tour.
THE WITCHES OF THE ORIENT is Premiering at the FIN Atlantic International Film Festival in Halifax, Nova Scotia at Cineplex Cinemas Park Lane on 23 September, where 158 films, 87 in-cinema screenings and 28 online screenings are featured this year.
THE WITCHES is also screening in theaters and streaming online at The Cinematheque in Vancouver, starting September 16th through September 29th.

Another in-cinema screening is scheduled for October 18, 7:30 p.m at Grosvenor Theatre – Kay Meek Arts Centre in West Vancouver.
