MC Distribution acquires rights to Their Algeria

We are happy to announce that we are starting a collaboration with MC Distribution in the MENA region. MC Distribution has acquired the distribution rights to Lina Soualem’s film Their Algeria.

Founded in 2009, MC Distribution is an independent film distribution company based in Lebanon that aims to promote and distribute Arab and international independent feature films in the Middle East and North Africa.

Working closely with the Metropolis Association, MC Distribution releases most of its films at the Metropolis Cinema in Beirut and other theaters in the regions.

Lina Soualem’s first feature Their Algeria has been charming audiences and winning prizes on the festival circuit – the latest being the award for Best Arab Documentary at El Gouna Film Festival.

One of the leading festivals in the MENA region, the festival is committed to the discovery of new voices and strives to be a catalyst for the development of cinema in the Arab world. The 4th edition of the GFF was held from October 23 to October 31, 2020, in El Gouna, located on the Red Sea, Egypt.
