Lightdox at Cannes 2021
ACID Cannes 2021, Market screenings at Marché du Film
We’re buzzing from excitement to share that Abdallah Al-Khatib‘s powerful and touching LITTLE PALESTINE, DIARY OF A SIEGE is part of the ACID Cannes program at Festival de Cannes 2021!
The ACID program, consisting of 9 films selected by members of the association and screened parallel to the Cannes Film Festival since 1993, is taking place from July 7th until July 16th this year.
“Watching LITTLE PALESTINE, DIARY OF A SIEGE, we get to live the siege of Yarmouk from the inside. We share the daily life of its protagonists: a life in which nothing really matters, in which bombshells are dropped and buildings collapse. But in Yarmouk life goes on: desperately and vigorously.”

Michele Pennetta’s IL MIO CORPO will be screened at ACID Cannes 2021 as well, along with all of ACID 2020 films that have been shown at “Hors les Murs” sessions throughout the past year, in support of the authors and teams. Watch IL MIO CORPO on Tuesday, 13 July at 11:30, Olympia III.
We are thrilled to be part of the Marché du Film once again and to see things slowly returning to a sense of normality. Three of our films will be screened at the Market this year – LITTLE PALESTINE, DIARY OF A SIEGE, our latest acquisition – Stefan Pavlović’s LOOKING FOR HORSES and Julien Faraut’s vibrant THE WITCHES OF THE ORIENT.
