Lightdox at 52nd Visions du Réel

The 52nd edition of the International Film Fesival Nyon has started and we’re very excited to be there and take part! Starting on April 15 and running until April 25, Visions du Réel will present 142 films, from 58 countries. This year brings a second online version as the festival will be held predominantly in a virtual format with some in-person activities as well.

Premiering in the International Feature Film Competition is our latest acquisition – the debut feature doc of Abdallah Al-Khatib LITTLE PALESTINE, DIARY OF A SIEGE presenting the daily life of the besieged inhabitants of the biggest Palestinian refugee camp and their resistance to the atrocities of war through rallying, study, music, love and joy.

The World Premiere is on Tuesday April 20th, at 9:00PM in the Capitole Leone and the film will be available online on VOD from Wednesday, 21 April, at 19:00 until Saturday, April 24th, at 19:00.

The Industry programme, starting April 14, will host its usual array of pitching and networking events, opportunities and discussions, presented both online and live.

We are really enthusiastic about our partnership with Visions du Réel this year and to present the Lightdox Award to support the project with highest international potential at the VdR- Work in Progress section with the 3,000 CHF in cash award.

Also very pleased to add – Anna Berthollet, Lightdox CEO and founder, will be a Jury Member for the National Competition!
