INTERCEPTED by Oksana Karpovych Arrives in Cinemas Across Poland
We are happy to share that INTERCEPTED, the powerful and critically acclaimed documentary by Oksana Karpovych, will be screening in cinemas across Poland starting March 7, 2025.

The film first premiered in Warsaw on February 23 at 17:00 at Kinoteka, offering audiences an early opportunity to experience the much-talked about film. Following this pre-premiere, INTERCEPTED will screen in cities across Poland, including Kraków, Wrocław, Gdańsk, Gdynia, Lublin, Przemyśl, and Rzeszów, before continuing its nationwide run as part of the WATCH DOCS Traveling Film Festival.
INTERCEPTED has made a profound impact on audiences worldwide, earning a European LUX Audience Award nomination and recognition at top international film festivals, including Berlinale, Krakow Film Festival, CPH:DOX, and Hot Docs. In Poland, the film received the WATCH DOCS Award at the 24th WATCH DOCS Film Festival.
INTERCEPTED presents an unfiltered and chilling look into the realities of war through a bold cinematic approach. Without a single shot of combat, the film captures the brutality, absurdity, and devastation of the war in Ukraine.
The documentary weaves together long, haunting shots of war-torn landscapes and destroyed homes with intercepted audio recordings of Russian soldiers speaking to their families. These real conversations—gathered by Ukrainian intelligence—reveal firsthand accounts of the conflict, exposing the extent of Russian propaganda, the mindset of the occupiers, and the horrifying truth of their actions.
INTERCEPTED is a cinematic journey unlike any other, where sound and image merge to create a raw and unforgettable experience that lays bare the human cost of war.
