What amazing news to share! Marusya Syroechkovskaya’s HOW TO SAVE A DEAD FRIEND is among the 13 films recommended to the members of the European Film Academy for a nomination in the Documentary category at the 35th edition of the European Film Awards!
The European Film Awards, presented jointly by the European Film Academy and European Film Academy Productions, honor the greatest achievements in European cinema across 26 categories. The European Film Academy, founded in 1988, unites 4,400 European film professionals with the common aim of promoting Europe’s film culture with a series of activities which include conferences, seminars and workshops, throughout the year, all towards the common goal of building a bridge between creativity and the industry.
HOW TO SAVE A DEAD FRIEND has been on an impressive festival run since its World Premiere in the International Feature Film Competition at Visions du Réel where it was awarded a Special Mention and its successive selection for ACID Cannes — with over 15 international festival selections and 4 awards so far.
The Nominations will be announced on Tuesday, 8 November and the European Film Awards 2022 will be celebrated in Reykjavik on 10 December in the Harpa Conference and Concert Hall, together with various side events in connection with European film production.
