Curzon acquires UK and Ireland rights to Il Mio Corpo

UK’s leading arthouse distributor and cinema chain Curzon has acquired the rights to Il Mio Corpo in the UK and Ireland. It will be featured both in theaters and on Curzon’s digital platform.

Following its international premiere at this year’s Cannes Film Festival as part of the ACID selection, Michele Pennetta’s film has received recognition by press and audiences alike. 

Pennetta’s second feature tells the story of Oscar and Stanley – the different, yet similar heroes struggling in Sicily’s harsh environment. Coming from Italy himself, this is not the first time Pennetta has explored themes from his country of origin, achieving success on the international film festival scene.

Il Mio Corpo is scheduled for release in theaters and on Curzon Home Cinema on 27 November.
