Anna Berthollet, Lightdox founder, to be a jury member at RIDM 2020
Anna will be part of the National Feature Competition jury at the 23rd edition of the festival
The 23rd edition of the Montreal International Documentary Festival is held from November 12 to December 2, 2020. Organized in weekly line-ups of 8 thematic sections, RIDM 2020 is available online in Quebec on the festival’s streaming platform, powered by CineSend.
Anna Berthollet, Lightdox founder, is part of the National Feature Competition jury, considering 11 films in competition. Among the prizes are the Grand Prize, presented by Studios St-Aintoine, the Special Jury Prize, presented by PRIM and the New Visions Award presented by Post-Moderne and SCAM.
“There are only very few festivals that fed my love for documentaries so deeply, that I decided to invest my life and soul in it, and RIDM is one of those! Being invited to be a Jury at the 2020 edition is more than an honor, it’s a dream come true!”
At RIDM is also the Canadian premiere of Amel Alzakout and Khaled Abdulwahed’s feature Purple Sea – a poetic and poignant documentary following a harrowing boat journey through the Mediterranean.
